This Carmenere has a very attractive red-violet colour with
blue tones. In this wine you find ripe fig, black and red
berries mixed with chocolate notes. In mouth, an intense
fruity sensation comes up, with some coffee notes. It is well-structured, with smooth and silky tannins. Ideal for
lamb or spicy cuisine. Serve at 16ºC – 18ºC.

Wine maker notes
These grapes were produced from selected non grafted
French vine stocks in Maule Valley, area of San Clemente,
which is a traditional winemaking region in the Chilean
Central Valley. The yield is 8 tns/he.
In 1993, Vinedos Terranoble is born in Valle del Maule, the biggest wine-producing region in Chile, driven by its founder’s vision Mr. Jorge Elgueta. In 1994 he had his first grape harvest, achieving wines immediately recognized at international level for their quality, reliability and style. Since then, and due to the delicate handling of their vineyards and a careful manufacturing process, year after year they have been developing their prestige as a fine wine producer.
In 2006 Mr. Wolf von Appen enters Vinedos Terranoble, who together with Elgueta family and Patricio de Solminihac have lead Vinedos Terranoble towards a vineyard with a major presence in Chile’s best wine-producing valleys with a wide, high-quality wine range and an important local and international recognition.
Vinedos Terranoble is oriented to developing different grape varieties in valleys providing the best potential
for each one of them. Thus, in 2003, Vinedos Terranoble acquired 30 hectares in Los Lingues area, located in
Colchagua Valley, for growing Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenere and Syrah varieties.
Next, in 2008 acquired a new piece of land in Casablanca Valley, named El Algarrobo. This project comprising 70 hectares is intended for Premium Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Riesling grape production. Following, in 2009 a piece of land was acquired in Marchigue area, Colchagua valley, named Los Cactus focused on Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Carmenere and Petit Verdot premium grape production.
Thus, agricultural base of Terranoble comprises more than 360 hectares located between Maule, Colchagua
and Casablanca, achieving with all of them its objective of having the best grapes in the best places and terroirs of Chile.
Several awards have been achieved in several local and international wine competitions, in addition to major results in specialized magazines as well as the recognition of the main wine critics and writers at international level.
