Wine maker notes
white wine made from grapes selected Fiano & Chardonnay harvested in the month of August.
Its aromas are the result of each grape type cold maceration at 4 ° C for 24 hours (separately) performed immediately after de-stemming, and alcoholic fermentation at 15 ° C for about 10 days. Then blended the two varietals settle for several days in the stainless steel tanks before release.
From a Vision To Reality
While growing up in the sunny and beautiful valleys of the Salento (Puglia) amongst the grape growers of the wine making region, I have seen vines from the inception to the production of the fruit.Ultimately making the wine the whole world has come to know and appreciate. From the Primitivo to Negroamaro to Malvasia all indigenous to this region, but the Salento region is also capable of producing diverse types of grape varietals such as Cabernet, Merlot, Chardonnay and Fiano. The climate and soil permit full flavorful potential for these types of varietals. I have come to know and understand the process as I worked the land in this region as a young man.
My vision was to blend a wine both red and white that I would love to drink at anytime with my meals or simply sipping when gathering with friends and family. That vision has made me feel very comfortable to introduce such a product to markets across the USA while embracing you (the consumer) as my friends and family.
Maximus is the wine I have produced and developed after many years in the wine industry at both the marketing and sales levels both in Italy and here in the USA while working for different companies. MAXIMUS Red Blend (50% Cabernet Sauvignon 50% Merlot) and MAXIMUS White Blend (50% Chardonnay 50% Fiano) is the fruit of my labor designed and developed in every detail with accuracy and careful selection of all the right components including the Producer, the grape varietal, the bottle design, the label and the overall packaging. I have joined these elements to make the perfect combination to stimulate all five senses. MAXIMUS is aged to the right point of ripeness for a full flavor that a wine of this caliber can offer. It is ready to drink as soon as released and contains a full aging potential that can last through the years.
Before introducing MAXIMUS in the markets I performed a series of tastings with professional groups and friends against blends of the same or similar caliber. MAXIMUS was chosen by a landslide every time. It is a proven fact.
