Our Cremant d’Alsace is a wonderfully elegant sparkling wine, made exclusively from Chardonnay, following the traditional method.
Looking out the back door of Philippe and Corrine Ehrhart’s cave you have a noble view. This small estate of 20 hectares is located in the village of Wettolsheim, which backs up to the vineyards of Steingrubler, Rosenberg, Hengst, Herrenweg and Brand.
The Ehrhart family committed themselves to organic farming 2 generations ago and the wines are all certified organic. Most of the work is done by family members by hand and the wines show wonderful purity and elegance. Each block is vinified separately and the wines rest on their lees for up to 6 months before bottling.
