The old vines of this tiny grand cru vineyard produce a wine of rich white fruit density underscored by an airy, acidic elegance which highlights the pronounced notes of minerals, grilled nuts and spice on the layered palate; the finish is one of lasting intensity and finesse.
Wine Spectator 94 points - An angular, unformed young white, showing saturated flavors of lime, peach, apricot and stone, with a firmly structured profile. Needs time for all these elements, plus the oak, to harmonize. The finish shows fine potential. Best from 2013 through 2026. 20 cases imported. –BS (Feb 28 2010)
