It remained among the Jadot properties until 1887, when, due to a deed of division, it passed out of the family's hands. Several years afterward it was reacquired through a joint-purchase effort initiated by Louis Jadot and Louis Latour. Still today, the two Domaines remain equal owners of Les Demoiselles.

From its 1.29 acres of vines in Les Demoiselles, Maison Louis Jadot produces limited quantities of this exquisite grand cru, which in many vintages equals or surpasses Le Montrachet in concentration and complexity. Its limpid, golden color and penetrating fragrance of toast and honey predict the rich, mellow fruit flavors, velvety elegance and intense finish of this wine of exceptional grace and breed.
