Handpicked grapes from choice vineyards in the historic heart of the Chianti Classico zone. Terrains selected feature sandstone at higher altitudes of 1000-1800 feet, or finer, calcareous, clayey soils below 1000 feet of altitude.

| 12-14 days maceration. Once alcoholic and malolactic fermentations are complete, the wine ages 6-10 months in large oak casks and rests in bottle a further 3 months prior to release. |
