Michael Broadbent, MW is a renowned wine critic, writer and the former head of Christie’s wine department. Fine wine is Michael’s passion, one which he passed down to his son Bartholomew. Inspired by the wines of Portugal, Bartholomew has created a private label series of high-quality ports, madeiras and table wines. Bartholomew and his father are integrally involved in the formation of the wines; Michael travels to island of Madeira to taste and select the wines for their bottling and Bartholomew has partnered with family-owned wineries around the world to produce wines that express tradition and place.
