Light to medium-bodied wine with hints of ripe citrus, melon, and a refreshing crisp finish.
Canyon Road Sauvignon Blanc is a culmination of vineyard management and winery practices manifesting themselves as a distinctive wine with truly varietal characteristics. Luscious, deep scents of lemon grass, grapefruit and passion fruit jump from the glass. A lively palate full of crisp acids provides a zesty finish. Enjoy with shellfish, salads or as an aperitif.
Grapes from Northern California`s Coastal regions including Mendocino, Lake, Monterey, and Sonoma counties predominately comprise this blend of vibrant, grassy and exciting Sauvignon Blanc wine. Intense fruit retention was accomplished through night harvesting, whole cluster pressing, cold fermenting and cold storage in stainless steel tanks. No barrels or malolactic fermentation techniques were employed so that full varietal expression could be achieved.
