Wine Advocate 89 points - This elegant, backward 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits a Bordeaux-like structure along with plenty of tannin and cedarwood, spice box, red and black currant, and background oak characteristics. A lovely attack, medium body, good freshness, and sweet tannin suggest it can be drunk now or cellared for 15 years.
Dyer Vineyard Cabernet , made by Bill and Dawnine Dyer, has aromas of black cherry, ripe berries and violets with hints of anise and cocoa. An elegantly structured wine with full bodied, supple ripe tannins and great length. Dyer Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, a blend of 84% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot, is a wonderful example of Diamond Mountain fruit honed and polished to perfection.
