This delicious white Bordeaux from the 2007 vintage has fragrant, ripe aromas of melons, grass and lemons with more of the same in the clean, fresh mouth. The finish is dry and zippy, and the wine will be a perfect aperitif to serve alone or with green salads, grilled white fishes, cold seafood antipasto and chopped cucumber, herb and tomato side dishes. The wine is from Graves de Vayres, which is a small region located across the River Dordogne from Libourne, and is made of mostly Sauvignon Blanc. We also carry the red, which is made of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. Both are terrific values.
