asted & loved by our staff. Made of 60% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, believe it or not, this reminded us of a Margaux when we tasted it alongside a small range of 2005 Bordeaux reds. Look for red and black fruits such as plums and black cherries with rosewood and hints of vanilla on the nose. This has a fleshy, smooth mouthfeel. Graves de Vayres is a small region planted mostly to Merlot located across the River Dordogne from Libourne. 2005 is a stunningly good Bordeaux vintage that will supply savvy wine lovers with amazing value wines such as this one.
