The Shiraz has a deep, dense cloudy garnet colour. Briar, earth, chocolate, spices and layers of savory vegative characters encompassing the olfactory system – and to be honest – they over load it.
Generous mouth feel, yet tight and lean with angular fine tannins smothering the front palate. This wine has great elegance and length with a hint of drying acidity.

A passionate wine from a passionate winemaker. Sergio makes wines that vinophiles adore. Although the average consumer would be lost in their nuisances, twists and turns. They are a journey in a glass.

Robert Parker Review:
A fine effort, the 2002 Shiraz Estate’s notes of mint, black currants, blackberries, and licorice jump from the glass of this medium to full-bodied, elegant, streamlined, well-balanced Shiraz. There is nicely integrated acidity, tannin, and alcohol, and the oak is kept in the background. It should drink well for 7-8 years.-RP
Wine Spectator Review:
Lively, refreshing and distinctive, with subtle herb notes weaving through bold currant, blueberry and a wee touch of floral character as the flavors persist. Stylish. Intense but not weighty. Drink now through 2012. 200 cases imported. –HS
