Elegant ruby and garnet colour over a very deep cherry red. Aromas of vanilla with intense fruity tones and soft tannins coming from the wood. It has a long and pleasant very harmonic aftertaste, perfectly structured and fleshy.
Wine Spectator 89 points - The 2011 Borsao Crianza Seleccion is a blend of Garnacha, Tempranillo and Merlot aged for ten months in oak barrels. It feels very balanced, clean and harmonious, with some floral note, plums and red and black cherries, with the wood very well integrated. The palate is medium-bodied, supple, with a fine texture, polished tannins and good acidity, ending supple. Very good wine and very good value. 100,000 bottles produced.
