Robert Parker Review:
The 2007 The Broken Fishplate Sauvignon Blanc exhibits gooseberry and passion fruit aromas that jump from the glass. Ripe, balanced, and flavorful, it can be enjoyed with a variety of seafood courses over the next 1-2 years.
The d’Arenberg portfolio is loaded with values. The winery works with over 140 growers to fashion their superb blends.-JM
Wine Spectator Review:
Soft and fragrant, with herbs and pear flavors gliding over a smooth frame. Drink now. 500 cases imported. –HS

d'Arenberg is one of the most significant wineries in McLaren Vale. In 1912 Joseph Osborn, a teetotaler and director of Thomas Hardy and Sons, purchased the well established Milton Vineyards in the hills just north of the townships of Gloucester and Bellevue, now just known as McLaren Vale.
Food pairing
Sauvignon blanc goes well with delicately flavored foods or slightly acidic dishes. It does well with grilled or sautéed foods as well as raw vegetables. Its crisp, straightforward flavor goes well with warm weather and casual meals.
Seafood: Crab, raw oysters, scallops, shrimp, smoked seafood
Meat: white meats like chicken, pork
Sauces: Citrus, vinaigrettes
